Estudo da Atividade Nuclear e Popula¸c˜ao Estelar na Gal´axia Peculiar AM 0004-413 (ESO 293-IG 037)

Resumo

Este trabalho espectrosc´opico investiga a atividade nuclear e a popula¸c˜ao estelar presente na gal´axia peculiar AM 0004-413 (ESO 293-IG 037). Empregamos o c´odigo de s´ıntese espectral STARLIGHT para subtrair a popula¸c˜ao estelar subjacente e recuperar os fluxos das linhas de emiss˜ao no intervalo ´optico investigado (4500-7200 ˚A). De acordo com os crit´erios de classifica¸c˜ao baseados em raz˜oes de linhas, os valores determinados neste estudo sugerem um n´ucleo do tipo LINER (Low-Ionization Nuclear Emission-line Region). A popula¸c˜ao estelar revelada pela s´ıntese espectral ´e composta por estrelas jovens (29,61%) e de idades intermediarias (70,39%). Os resultados apresentados s˜ao in´editos na literatura.
