ATUALIDADE E BIOPOLÍTICA
Resumo
RESUMO: A atualidade tem, no pensamento de Michel Foucault, valor de referência obrigatório para a análise do mundo social e político a partir do século XX. O texto procura mostrar os diversos e controversos pontos de vista apresentados na arqueologia do saber a respeito do discurso considerado pertinente sobre os sujeitos e, depois, na analítica do poder, quando o tema é o controle da vida e seus desafios. No primeiro momento, a ênfase na teoria das ciências humanas é abandonada em prol dos incertos inter-lugares ocupados pelos sujeitos históricos. Como pensar o presente da vida e da política e seu futuro, passa a ser o cerne deste breve estudo, interrogação que não tem data para nosso pensamento sobre o tempo no qual estamos.

ABSTRACT: In Michel Foucault's thought, the present has an obligatory reference value for the analysis of the social and political world from the 20th century on. The text seeks to show the diverse and controversial points of view presented in the archeology of knowledge regarding the discourse considered pertinent about subjects and, later, in the analytics of power, when the theme is the control of life and its challenges. In the first moment, the emphasis on the theory of human sciences is abandoned in favor of the uncertain inter-places occupied by historical subjects. How to think about the present of life and politics, and its future, becomes the core of this brief study, a questioning that has no date for our thinking about the time we are in.
