About the Journal
The Journal of Materials Science and Non-Conventional Technologies (NOCMAT Journal) is a periodical of the Graduate Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the State University of Feira de Santana, in cooperation with the Brazilian Association of Materials Science and Non-Conventional Technologies (ABMTENC).
The NOCMAT Journal aims to publish scientific articles presenting original contributions in the field of construction materials, structures, and non-conventional building systems, including recent developments and advances in earthen constructions, biomaterials, waste utilization in construction, alternative binders, bioarchitecture, and innovative technologies for sustainable communities.
Additionally, the journal also intends to publish works involving life cycle analysis, additive manufacturing, low-carbon materials, computational modeling, or the dissemination and application of non-conventional materials and technologies.
