PROBLEMAS PARA EXPLICAÇÕES DE AÇÃO: ESQUEMAS DE GÊNERO MOLDAM A SENSAÇÃO DE AGÊNCIA

A disputa teórica entre teorias que competem para oferecer uma explicação das ações intencionais suscita diversas objeções. Uma delas é a do desparecimento do agente em que se questiona a ausência de um papel causal para o agente na produção de sua ação na Teoria Causal da Ação. Já a teoria concorrente, a Causação do Agente, confere centralidade ao papel causal do agente na sua explicação de ação, além disso, ela defende que a sensação de agência a favorece, sugerindo que essa pode ser interpretada como a experiência consciente da atividade do agente. Contudo, Brancazio (2019) defende que a sensação de agência é moldada pelos esquemas de gênero, assim, haveria mais fatores relevantes para essa experiência consciente do que a Causação do Agente considera. Defendo que a compreensão da influência de esquemas de gênero na sensação de agência enfraquece o argumento da fenomenologia da ação da Causação do Agente.
