Abstract

Introduction: Post-Covid Syndrome is a condition in which symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, and cognitive dysfunction persist for at least 4 weeks after acute Covid-19 infection. Treatment of this condition requires care from multiple professionals; and in primary health care, with the presence of e-Multi, and through a therapeutic group, the ideal scenario for managing these patients is seen. Objective: To report the experience of a multiprofessional approach in a Post-Covid Care group at a Primary Health Care (PHC) unit. Methodology: A group of patients with Post-COVID Syndrome was conducted in five meetings, facilitated by a physician, physiotherapist, physical education professional, psychologist, and nutritionist. Activities were based on the WHO Guide for Support for Rehabilitation: Self-Care after COVID-19. Reflections and discussions were held in each professional area. Results: The multidisciplinary work, in a group format, along with the active participation of patients, contributed to the improvement of reported symptoms and changes in lifestyle habits. Conclusion: Therapeutic groups are excellent care tools that promote health knowledge, modifying habits and lifestyle. Therefore, replication of this group and longitudinal follow-up of participants is suggested.
