We present the taxonomic treatment of the genus Dalechampia (Euphorbiaceae: Acalyphoideae) for the state of Bahia. With 24 species, Bahia is the richest state for the genus in Brazil. This study provides an updated account of the species composition in the state, compared with previous listings, and includes an identification key, descriptions, photographs, and distribution maps, as well as notes on geographic distribution, habitat, and phenology. In addition to the species previously recorded for Bahia, new occurrences are also reported.
