Flora of Bahia: Leguminosae – Leptolobieae (Papilionoideae)
DOI:
https://doi.org/10.13102/scb11770Abstract
The taxonomic treatment of the tribe Leptolobieae (Leguminosae, Papilionoideae) for the state of Bahia is presented. We recognize three genera: Bowdichia (1 species), Diplotropis (2) and Leptolobium (3). The Atlantic Forest harbors the majority of species (5), followed by the Caatinga (2) and the Cerrado (2). Identification keys, morphological descriptions, flowering and fruiting data, comments, illustrations, and distribution maps of the species in Bahia are presented.
