Scientific articles and texts of scientific divulgation written by the entomologist Oscar Monte (1895-1948)

Abstract

This article shows a complete list of scientific articles and texts of scientific divulgation which were written by the entomologist Oscar Monte. He used to study those insect species that became plague in the Brazilian agriculture and showed how to eliminate them. In his scientific articles he named and described many species of Homoptera of the family Tingitidae. In present day there is no entomologist in Brazil dedicated to that family, so this article also provides Monte’s articles in order to awake the interest of some new biologist willing to study those homopterans. He also used to study Coleoptera.
