Leaf surface considerations of Passiflora foetida L. (Passifloraceae)
DOI:

This paper presents a micromorphological study of the leaf surface of Passiflora foetida L. for the acquisition of useful data to its taxonomy. All the leaves are hypostomatic, they present epidermical cells between the veins distinguished of above the veins, thin cuticle with or without cuticular striae or not, and glandular and nonglandular trichomes in most of the samples. Micromorphological characters of the leaf of Passiflora foetida are constant and can be used as additional feature to delimitate infraspecific groups.
