Perspectives for using Oxystyla pulchella Spix, 1827 (Mollusca: Bulimulidae) in integrated pest management programs in citrus crops

This paper deals with aspects related to the potential which Oxystyla pulchella has to protect citrus crops. It is an efficient predator of Orthezia praelonga, promoting the removal of covering algae, lichens and fungi, as well recycling nutrients, because its excrement is rich in macro and micronutrients.
