Abstract

Osteological data are very significant for morphological research and have been used for a long time in the study of the vertebrates. Due to their durability, skeletons preserve information about animals’ lives that can benefit the teaching of Zoology. This short note aims to record the osteological collection of the Vertebrate Comparative Morphology Laboratory of the Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana, which is now comprised of several materials belonging to different zoological groups. Both the undergraduates and the students from the public and private schools of the municipality of Feira de Santana can consult the available materials.
