During a survey of the anamorphic fungi associated with leaf litter in the semi-arid region of the Bahia State, seven species of Curvularia were found: C. brachyspora, C. crepinii, C. eragrostidis, C. intermedia, C. geniculata, C. lunata, and C. protuberata. Descriptions, illustrations, comments, geographic distribution and a key to the collected species are presented.
