Flora of Bahia: Agarista (Ericaceae)

A floristic treatment of the genus Agarista (Ericaceae) from Bahia state, Brazil, is presented. We recognise ten species, including two new occurrences in the state, A. glaberrima and A. virgata, and a species endemic to Morro do Chapéu, A. revolutissima. The treatment includes an identification key to the genera represented in Bahia and the Agarista species, descriptions, notes, images of the plants and distribution maps of the species in Bahia.
