Flora of Bahia: Mabea (Euphorbiaceae)

Abstract

Mabea is a Neotropical genus comprising about 50 species. In Brazil, 25 species are registered, three in Bahia: M. fistulifera, M. glaziovii, and M. piriri. Descriptions and comments for all taxa, illustrations, distribution maps in Bahia, and an identification key for the species are presented.
