Biodegradação de celulose e lignina por fungos: uma breve revisão

Resumo

A bioconversão de compostos ligninocelulósicos é catalisada por um grupo de enzimas ligninocelulolíticas, dentre as quais estão endo e exo-glicanases, b-glicosidases, lignina peroxidases, manganês peroxidases e lacases. Essas enzimas são produzidas por uma grande variedade de fungos, como Phanerochaete chrysosporium, Phlebia radiata, Trametes versicolor, Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma reesei, Penicillium pinophilum. A produção enzimática é influenciada pelo tipo de substrato e pelas condições de cultivo. Essa revisão considera alguns aspectos envolvidos na biodegradação de lignina e celulose por fungos.
