Práticas translíngues no Facebook e a coconstrução de identidades para além do tempo e espaço

Resumo

Estudos recentes em Linguística Aplicada e Sociolinguística têm acomodado novas perspectivas teórico-metodológicas na tentativa de explicar a complexa relação entre globalização, identidade e mobilidade. Um dos principais interesses dessas investigações tem sido as maneiras como sujeitos multilíngues empregam diferentes recursos linguísticos para cumprir propósitos comunicativos diversos. Além dessa busca ter feito emergir um conjunto de ferramentas conceituais mais alinhadas aos desafios de se fazer pesquisa aplicada na contemporaneidade, ela também retoma discussões antigas a partir de um olhar alternativo. Assim, neste trabalho, eu parto da imbricação dos conceitos de translinguagem e da noção bakhtiniana de cronotopo como uma forma de melhor entender as configurações espaço-temporais que atuam na constituição identitária de sujeitos multilíngues. Para isso, faço um recorte de uma pesquisa netnográfica, problematizando interações de um sujeito multilíngue em posts publicados em sua página do Facebook. Busco, assim, apresentar caminhos para a investigação da relação entre tempo, espaço e práticas translíngues e de seu impacto na coconstrução de posicionamentos identitários on-line.
