This study analyzes the potential of social networks to improve public policies for inclusion in Brazilian higher education, based on posts on Twitter about the Unified Selection System (Sisu), an action by the Ministry of Education (MEC). The analysis of the data, collected during the first days of enrollment in the Sisu selection process for the first half of 2023, demonstrates the personality of the topic on Twitter and the broad engagement that it entails beyond the national territory. In Brazil, different regions are represented in the user comforts about Sisu, with emphasis on states such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The most used words were quantified with the objective of identifying the context of the ideas centrally disseminated in the tweets, which made it possible to identify the most considered themes related to the public policy of access to higher education of the MEC, with emphasis on the discussion on the Law of Quotas in Sisu. The classification of the most prominent words provides relevant information about the users' perception of Sisu and highlights aspects of the construction of public opinion as expressed in social networks about ways of accessing higher education in Brazil.
